Food for Thought (posts)

This area is called Food for Thought and is where you’ll find a collection of my blog articles including Science Made Simple, A Dietitian’s Journey and Making Health a Habit.

Science Made Simplearticles explain the science behind the use of a low carb or therapeutic ketogenic (keto) diet in terms that most people without a science background can understand.  The more recent ones have references. These are blogs not academic publications and express my thoughts as well. There are also a few editorial articles (marked as such). The articles are arranged sequentially on this page, just below and can be searched for by title or topic in the search bar, below.

“A Dietitian’s Journey” is an account of my personal health recovery and weight loss journey over the two-year period, from March 5, 2017 – March 4, 2019 and can be found by clicking here. These are arranged sequentially as well as by topic (denial, results, progress, encouragement etc.)

All good journeys come to an end, however in order for me to maintain my own health requires making health a habit —  hence the name for this series.  “Making Health a Habit” picks up where “A Dietitian’s Journey” left off.  Posts are available by clicking here.
