Services

As a Registered Dietitian I am licensed to provide dietetic services in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario.

I also provide non-clinical nutrition education services to those outside of Canada on an hourly basis, as well as in packages such as the Meal Plan Package, follow-up Weight Loss Package and Anti-Inflammatory Package. Please scroll to the bottom of this page for information about these services.

Restoring Your Health and Weight (for those in Canada)

If you want to eat healthier, lose (or gain) weight, or improve your blood sugar, cholesterol, or blood pressure, there are two ways to get started: the Complete Assessment Package or an Hourly Consultation.

If you live in the US or elsewhere and are interested in services, please scroll down to the next section “Nutrition Education Services (for those outside of Canada)”.

1. Complete Assessment Package

The most popular option for getting started is the Complete Assessment Package which includes 3 hours of services. This all-inclusive package will provide you with a custom-designed Meal Plan, along with a full one-hour teaching session so that you are equipped to begin using it to achieve your health and weight goals.

The Complete Assessment Package includes a one-hour initial assessment appointment where I will meet with you to collect detailed information about your health and risk factors, including your personal medical history, family medical history, and dietary and lifestyle information. Lifestyle questions include what you like to eat and when, food likes and dislikes, religious, cultural, or ethical dietary restrictions, and other factors that impact your health and weight, such as sleep habits and activity level.

Based on the information collected during the assessment visit, I will design a Meal Plan for you (one-hour of service) geared to accomplish your goals. A Meal Plan is not a menu. A menu dictates what you have to eat, whereas a Meal Plan enables you to know how much of a particular type of food to eat, but which specific food you eat is up to you!

We will meet again for the Nutrition Education Session (one-hour of service), where I will go over your Meal Plan with you, explain the different categories of foods, and how to make food exchanges within each category.  I will also explain how to accurately estimate portion sizes so you won’t have to weigh or measure food, or track anything on an app.  When I design your Meal Plan, I do all the calculations so all you need to do is decide what to eat.

If you would like to get started with a Complete Assessment Package, please download the Intake and Service Option Form*, complete it on your computer, then email it to the address on the form. You can find out about how to book an appointment here and more about using our flexible payment option here.

If you would like a password-protected Intake Form, please send a note using the Contact Me form on the tab above.

* NOTE: If you don’t already have it, you can download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader here to complete the pdf form on a Windows-based computer. If you are on another type of computer, a phone or a tablet, then you can use Adobe Acrobat online fill and sign tools.

2. Hourly Consultations

For those who prefer to meet with me first to discuss their needs, share details of their health background, or see if I am a ‘good fit’, the Hourly Consultation is the place to get started.

If you decide to take a Complete Assessment Package or one of the other specialty packages while meeting with me, any remaining time in your initial Hourly Consultation can be ‘banked’ and used later for follow-up services.

If you would like to set up an Hourly Consultation, please download the Intake and Service Option Form*,  complete it on your computer, then email it to the address on the form. You can click here to learn about booking an appointment.

FOLLOW-UP SERVICES – for those have taken the Complete Assessment Package

The Dietary Management Package is a follow-up package to the Complete Assessment Package and provides 3 hours of additional support or coaching services to support you while achieving weight loss, weight or muscle gain, as well as improved metabolic health. This package can be taken as half-hour appointments or as hourly sessions, whichever works best for you.

The Anti-Inflammatory Protocol Package is designed for those with inflammatory conditions, including chronic pain, osteoarthritis (OA), or rheumatoid arthritis (RA), or one of several auto-immune conditions that result in inflammation.  This package is also very helpful for those seeking to reduce symptoms associated with leaky gut. This is a follow-up package because many people feel considerably better once I design a Meal Plan from an anti-inflammatory perspective that they no longer require these services. For those that still have some residual symptoms, this package makes an excellent follow up.

NUTRITION EDUCATION SERVICES (for those outside of Canada)

These are non-clinical nutrition education services provided to those outside of Canada as a non-regulated nutritionist, not a Registered Dietitian. If you have health conditions that require clinical support, please consult a Registered Dietitian who is a regulated health professional licensed to provide clinical services where you live.

Meal Plan Package is the all-inclusive nutrition education package for those outside of Canada who want to eat healthier and/or lose (or gain) weight.

Weight Loss Package is a follow-up package for those who’ve already completed the Meal Plan Package and would like additional support or coaching as they work on their health and weight loss goals.

Anti-Inflammatory Protocol Package is a follow-up nutrition education package to the Meal Plan Package and is designed for those with inflammatory conditions, including chronic pain, osteoarthritis (OA), or rheumatoid arthritis (RA), or one of several auto-immune conditions that result in inflammation.

If you are interested in taking one of these packages, please download the Intake and Service Option Form for those outside of Canada, complete it on your computer, then email it to the address on the form.
